Frequently Asked Questions

Q: You do forest bathing, silent disco rentals, AI SUPPORT... and more??

A: Yep. It’s a lot—and it’s all intentional. Everything offered is rooted in the same mission: helping people feel more connected, less overwhelmed, and more at home in their bodies, minds, and environments. Whether it’s through nature immersion, movement, or digital resources for AI literacy - it’s all just different paths toward clarity and healing.

Q: How do I work with you?

A: It depends on what you’re looking for. Want to host a silent disco? Head to the rentals page. Interested in forest bathing or consulting? Visit the nature section. Need beginner-friendly AI support? Check out the Feminist AI Field Guide. Still not sure? Just reach out—I’ll point you in the right direction.

Q: Are you one person or a small agency pretending to be a person?

A: It’s really just me. One person wearing a lot of hats—with experience across different fields and a very organized Notion dashboard. It might look like there’s a team behind the scenes, but it’s all powered by one neurodivergent brain, matcha, curiosity, and Google Calendar reminders.

Q: Can I book multiple services at once?

A: Absolutely. If it makes sense for your goals or event, I love weaving things together. A forest bathing session followed by a silent disco dance party? Sure—but we’ll plan it with intention so it flows. Same goes for blending wellness with systems, strategy, or AI support. If you're curious about mixing modalities, let's talk—custom experiences are my favorite kind.

Q: Do you do custom collaborations or one-off projects?

A: I do! I’ve partnered with therapists, retreat leaders, HR teams, wellness brands, and creative collectives to build one-of-a-kind offerings. If you’ve got an idea and want to co-create something meaningful, weird, beautiful, or deeply grounded—send it my way. I’m especially into anything that blends nature, neuroscience, mindfulness, art, sound, movement, or community-building.

Q: What’s your background? Where’d you learn all this?

A: I actually started my career in libraries and earned a master’s degree in Library and Information Science. (Yes, I’m also a librarian. Because of course.) Organizing ideas, making knowledge accessible, and helping people find what they need has always been at the center of my work.

Since then, my path has taken a nonlinear route through executive leadership, wellness facilitation, and experience design. I’m certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, have over a decade of leadership experience, and have guided thousands of people through workshops, programs, and immersive gatherings. I’ve spoken and written widely on topics like mental health, creativity, money, and embodiment—and I’ve learned just as much from trying things, refining them, and staying curious as I have from any classroom.

My work is grounded, adaptive, and built for real life—not the idealized version of it.

Q: Are you available for speaking, consulting, or workshops?

A: Absolutely. I love designing talks, trainings, and interactive experiences that blend story, strategy, and embodiment—whether it’s for a corporate team, a retreat, a conference, or something more unconventional. Past collaborators include The Battery SF, Burning Man’s Earth Guardians, UC Berkeley Botanical Garden, LA Arboretum, and a wide range of values-driven companies. If you’re looking for a thoughtful speaker or facilitator, I’d love to hear more.

Q: Do you sleep?!

A: I’m getting better at it—but these days, my late nights are less about insomnia and more about following my curiosity with AI. Building the Feminist AI Field Guide has meant plenty of evenings experimenting, testing, and learning how these tools can actually support real life. Like most women I know, I’m juggling rest, work, and creativity—and sometimes that means naps are strategic, and learning happens after hours.

Q: No, but like… literally, how do you do it?

A: By weaving AI into the small, ordinary parts of my day. In the mornings, I’ll drop my scattered notes into it and have it shape a plan so I don’t spin my wheels. When I’m writing, I draft in my own voice first, then use AI to clean it up or push me toward angles I wouldn’t have seen on my own.

I use it to brainstorm when my brain is tired, to help me name things when words won’t come, and sometimes just to remind me what step comes next. It’s like having a co-worker who’s always available for the boring stuff—so I can save my energy for the things only I can do.

And just like with rest, I’ve had to learn limits: I don’t chase every new tool, and I don’t let it replace my own thinking. Some days I use it constantly, other days not at all. The point isn’t perfection—it’s support, curiosity, and leaving myself a little more space to breathe.

Q: What if I don’t see what I’m looking for on this site?

A: Reach out anyway. I might offer it, know someone brilliant who does, or be open to building it with you. I stay open to projects that feel aligned, expansive, and human—and I love creating custom solutions that meet people exactly where they are.
